PSI Directive shackles government by Louise de Gier and Joost Gerritsen (De Gier | Stam & Attorneys)

New Directive on the Re-use of Public Sector Information accommodates individuals and businesses

The government should not only say that it is in favour of re-using public sector information, but also make it possible, say Louise de Gier and Joost Gerritsen. The new European PSI Directive aims to remove current impediments. Governments may charge only marginal costs. Competition in the
market may not be disrupted by enterprising government institutions.
